It is believed that the word poker comes from the French for “teacup”. Whether the word poker actually derived from the word ‘poque’ is a matter of debate.
There are several variations of the poker game, but the best one is the one that allows players to bet with chips instead of cash. Chips are much easier to track, and they are much easier to change if necessary.
